The year is 2003. The invasion of Iraq begins, the second intifada rages on, and thousands of miles away, Rachel Corrie is a student at Evergreen State College. Collected from her diaries and emails, My Name is Rachel Corrie tells the true story of American student and activist Rachel Corrie and her decision to join the International Solidarity Movement peacefully resisting the displacement of Palestinians in Gaza.

Suitable for audiences thirteen and up. My Name is Rachel Corrie runs approximately an hour and fifteen minutes without an intermission. For more info and questions contact us at info@vanguardmke.com.

Pay What You Will Industry Night Added!

Vanguard is thrilled to be adding our first Pay What You Can Industry Night on Monday, Sepetember 23rd at 7:30pm! Join us for an intimate presentation of My Name is Rachel Corrie, including a talkback after the show with Maya Danks, and director Josh Pohja. Audience members are invited to name their price to make theatre accessible to all.  RSVPs are encouraged but not required, all payments will be taken at the door. We hope to see you there!

Announcing our Community Partners for MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE!

Vanguard is proud to partner with the Milwaukee Anti-War Committee, the US Palestinian Community Network, Students for a Democratic Society, Milwaukee DSA, and Jewish Voice for Peace to host post show panels and talkbacks after select performances. These are free and invite audiences to further immerse themselves in the context of the play and to get involved in their community. The schedule is as follows:
